Kase-san and Morning Glories
The anime is a highlight reel of the first few volumes of the Kase-san manga, but it only referenced a couple of the scenes from the ONA that came before it in very brief flashbacks. I had really hoped that a few of the major scenes from the first volume would get an expansion but they chose to move on and briefly cover the next two volumes instead. It was cute even though the story felt rushed, and I’m glad it got made but it’s definitely an enhancement to and not a replacement for the manga.
I was also kinda bummed that the ONA wasn’t on the Sentai release. They probably couldn’t afford the licensing, but it was great.
